work space inspiration

My husband has a new job (yay!) and now we have a little work space problm in our home. We have an adorable bookshelf enclosed workspace niche, which is big enough for one person, but my husband’s new job allows him to be more flexible with his work so he will be working from home a lot more, so we need room for two! In honor of my love’s new and exciting job here is some work space inspiration. Now I just need to make our space a bit bigger, or just create another space for me!

This space is so peaceful, maybe because there is no computer in it. I love the fabric on the chair, I would love to upholster our dining chairs in a similar fabric. I also love that it appears to be looking out a window. I have done time (pun intended) in a cubical and will never do that again, how lovely to look out the window while you work!

The use of wood in this room is so beautiful. I love the wood with the red-ish colors. The large wood table with the metal legs is a great desk but would also be a perfect table for projects. It’s incredible, I love it! …and the typewriter? So beautiful, it looks like a piece of artwork.

I love the simplicity of this desk, the lucite top is so incredible. The mannequin in the background would be a little creepy to work with, but this image is from the J Crew bridal shop in New York, so that makes sense… Those flowers are killing me they are so beautiful!

I love the frame in this image. This is a DYI that I have seen over and over but this one especially beautiful because the frame  and the fabric choice inside is so tasteful. I love!  The desk chair is also really beautiful. When choosing a chair for our desk we decided to go with comfort over an incredible aesthetic…I keep telling myself with all the many hours a day I put in at the computer we are saving on the eventual chiropractor bill. Maybe one of these days when I get our place tidied up a bit I will post some photos of our little work space…In the mean time back to work I go! Happy Monday everyone!
