• print methods available

  We print everything professionally and locally. We are sticklers for quality and work closely with trusted printers to ensure your project is executed to perfection. We work with our clients to determine the best print method for their project and budget.We love to mix print methods in order to maximize the capabilities of each method. Click here for more information on available print methods.

• high quality papers are a must

  We are paper lovers! We print all projects on the highest-quality luxe, cotton and cardstock papers available. Most letterpress projects are printed on extra-thick cotton paper paired with soft cotton Crane envelopes. We even use a soft cotton cardstock for digital projects. We favor beautifully colored papers and are able to source paper from around the world to find the perfect paper for your project. Paper and print samples are available, just ask.

• calligraphy please!

  la Happy is a unique design studio as we specialize in design + calligraphy. Custom calligraphy (no fonts here!) can be added to every project and is part of the design fee. We are able to digitize our custom calligraphy to print via letterpress printing, digital printing, screen printing, etc. … the sky is the limit! All projects are quoted with custom envelope addressing, meaning your guests’ addresses will be hand calligraphed on the outside of each outer envelope. I have a general guide to calligraphy styles offered here. I am able to modify any of my styles to best fit your project!

• pretty postage

  We think that pretty postage is the cherry on top of each invitation set. We work with our clients to figure out the perfect postage option for their unique project. Love vintage postage? No problem! We pull together sets of coordinating vintage postage for you to choose from and assemble the sets for you. Do you love custom postage? We design and procure that as well. Don’t sweat the postage, that’s one of our specialties!

• maps and custom illustrations

  There are few things we love more than creating custom, hand-drawn maps and monograms plus other illustrated items. Individualized maps of cities, event venues and other locales are unique additions to invitation sets and welcome bags. Custom monograms can be used throughout your paper goods to connect all your pieces together.

• day of stationery

  We heart invitations, but after the invitations are out the door we love turning our attention toward day-of stationery (even if we didn’t produce your invitations we are happy to help you with your day-of paper.) Place cards, escort cards, menus, programs, custom signage, welcome bags… yes, we do it all! See more samples of day-of stationery here.
