I am so excited to share these vintage, rustic inspired custom wedding invitations with you all today! I so so so enjoyed working on these adorable invites. The bride was a dream to work with and was so clear in her vision for a sweet, vintage, rustic inspired wedding. I love the finished product!
These invitations, RSVP cards and information cards were printed on a beautiful, off white, textured, felted paper. The envelope is made from recycled brown paper bags and the RSVP envelope is a beautiful sage green.
I love the bride and groom’s earthy color palette. The soft peach, sage green and browns are beautiful together and make for a unique invite! I also love how perfectly my favy King and Queen Love stamps from the post office look with the color palette… hint hint…don’t skimp on stamps! They are an IMPORTANT part of your invite set (why go to all that trouble to design beautiful invites, just to stick a boring stamp on them?!). I have always been so inspired by Kate Spade’s design and feminine, lady-like looks. I first read about Kate Spade’s creative director, Deborah Lloyd, when Lonny mag (my favy online magazine by the way…) did a feature on her summer home (over the top adorable). Then I recently ran into an interview on the Coveteur about her. The interview was great, but the product shots of Kate Spade goods around her home…they were absolutely to die for…I just had to share them here.

I have had a crazy couple of weeks. I am so sorry how sporatic I have been about posting. I have really missed la Happy! My brother is getting married in a little less than two weeks (yay!) so after that event passes things will hopefully slow way down.
So what does all of this have to do with this adorable video? Last night I was running on fumes when my husband showed me this amazing video. I was so smitten. I love love love, I love the typography, the videography…sigh…I just love everything about it. It was a great little break in my evening. I watched this video of Paris then started watching the other adorable videos in the series, it was like a little mini vaca. So go grab a cold diet coke, kick back a take a little vacation at your desk with this sweet little video.
