I am so excited to share a sneak peak of this navy and gold letterpress Save the Date I recently completed, the invitation is still in the works…I can’t wait to share the whole project with you! What’s not to love about a hand drawn laurel wreath letterpressed in metallic gold?! In the mean time I have been so inspired by navy and gold after working on this set, that I thought I would share some of my favorite inspirations with you. I think navy and gold may be the perfect combination for a formal (or informal!) summer wedding. Here are some of the navy and gold combos that have inspired me lately.
Earlier this week I was featured on Style Me Pretty with some of my lovely friends. I was over the moon with every detail of this inspiration shoot, shot at Bob’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm. It was shot by my incredibly talented friend Chantal Andrea, seriously her photography eye is amazing. It was styled and all the floral was done by my new sweet, lovely, talented friend Rachel from Finch and Thistle Events, if you are looking for a florist/event stylist book her, I would unreservedly trust her with my wedding…(and that’s saying a lot)… The food was provided by a local Seattle favorite Ravishing Radish and yes, it was as yummy as it looks. The makeup (and model styling) by Jenny Bowker was also so beautiful. What a fun day with some talented professionals….
And of course all the paper goods were designed by me. I was finally able to properly showcase the beautiful white calligraphy I have been playing around with. Also, I love the details like the plaid on the back of all the paper pieces…it’s those small details that are so important. Check out some more of my work from the shoot below. Like what you see? Contact me, I would love to chat with you about your project!
Christmas is a perfect time for me to indulge in my sparkle habit. What can I say I love glitter, sparkles and all things with twinkly goodness… So in honor of that here are some finds (with a bit of sparkle) that I am loving for this Christmas Season!
Images: peach dress (wouldn’t it be so cute with black tights for christmas dinner?) via Dolly Pearl, glitter ribbon (my favorite way to wrap gifts for Christmas) via Caramelos, starry string lights via Restoration Hardware, striped shirt via JCrew, art deco bracelet via Anthropologie, vintage christmas card via Daisygirl Flickr Stream
I love this velvet ribbon and glitter tag wrapping. Images via AmbrosiaGirl find her instructions there as well.
