A year ago today, Sonny joined our lives. To say he is a blessing would be an understatement. Sonny bug is God’s grace and gift to us. He is my brother and sister-in-law’s first baby and is he is amazing. His uncle and I love him so much. We are so grateful to be a part of his life and we are so excited to celebrate him with his mommy and daddy today. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings for him. Babies are such an incredible blessing from the Lord and we consider it a tremendous priveledge to be given the responsibility to be apart of his little life.
Our pray for your life Sonny is that you grow up to know your Savior and that you grow to love people with a tenderness like Jesus did. We love you so much! Next up for you…walking!
My husband and I are taking a short week/long weekend, and getting out of town! We are long overdue for a vaca (we are definitely doing a tropical trip this fall!) but this weekend will do until then. I hope you all have a lovely rest of the week/weekend as well. I will post pictures when we return on Monday!
One day I dream of having a yard to entertain, hang out and play in (preferably in a warm climate). I love our “vintage wonderful” place now, but we’re starting to feel a bit cramped. I love to day dream about 1. entertaining outdoors and 2. what that outdoor space would look like. I ran across this image on Lonny Mag and instantly fell in love. It’s the perfect mix of design and comfort. I am IN LOVE with the striped canopy most of all (oh, and the pool!)! I also love the colors they are perfectly unstuffy, this feels like an outdoor entertaining space you can really live in and use. I love it! I added some fun essentials of my own above….Oh summer you can’t come soon enough!
Outdoor space via Lonny Mag, summer lantern and lamp oil from Terrain, gray dress from JCrew, wine tumber (just like we had in France!) from Crate and Barrel, wine from Trader Joes (no we’re none too picky!), melamine ikat plates from Wisteria, ribbon sandals from Asos, serving spoons from Anthropologie
