I have always been so inspired by Kate Spade’s design and feminine, lady-like looks. I first read about Kate Spade’s creative director, Deborah Lloyd, when Lonny mag (my favy online magazine by the way…) did a feature on her summer home (over the top adorable). Then I recently ran into an interview on the Coveteur about her. The interview was great, but the product shots of Kate Spade goods around her home…they were absolutely to die for…I just had to share them here.
How adorable are those red shoes? …every girl needs a pair of red heels for a rainy day…
this dress is the quintessential lady-like party dress…I love the geometric lines…
I am literally drooling over her beautiful curtains…
The Union Jack chair, the color block jacket…the adorable gold vintage chandelier…perfect! I just love love love all of these shots. I just thought I would pass along a little inspiration for your week! Happy Tuesday everyone!
(…we just got back from a little mini-getaway this weekend and are gearing up for my brother’s wedding this weekend!)
I ran across this little beach bungalow over on House Beautiful awhile ago and my jaw literally dropped to the floor as I looked though every image loving each room more than the last. If I wasn’t married this is EXACTLY how my little home would look. What a perfect little bungalow designed by Krista Ewart, with loving attention paid to every little detail (eeek! There is even a Liberty of London floral bike parked outside the font!!). Some of my favorite tid-bits from the House Beautiful article are the pink (!) guest house fridge ordered from the Sears catalog (so old school I love that!) and the designers thoughts on not “…over thinking pattern color” (love that!). There are more photos over at House Beautiful…what a perfect little summer bungalow!
I love the illustration work of C.S. Neal. I’ve been oohing and ahhing over his work for awhile now, some of my favorites can be browsed through here. But I have recently been in the market for artwork for our kitchen walls, I love these screen prints! I like the playful lines and (of course) the neon pink. I normally don’t like painted images of food, but these are just so fun and they make me so happy, I am pondering a set for my kitchen…
