Less is usually more, it’s true. The other day I was poking around one of my all time favorite blogs Oh So Beautiful Paper for some inspiration when I happened upon these jaw dropping invites from Cheree Berry. I love them so much because they incorporate all of my favorite things. Thick rich paper, simple colors (look at that hint of color on the sides of the invite!), art deco feeling, beautiful artwork and rich black ink. I am in paper love right now over these! I mean just look at that adorable diver!
I am still coming off my royal wedding high. What a lovely wedding! I am still dreaming about Kate’s beautiful dress (which made me immediately think of Princess Grace Kelly) and her sweet bouquet. I spent the evening with my good friend Nikki, we made it all the way though the service before we crashed! (we googled the kiss later when we woke up!) I think the draw to this wedding for me is the fairy tail love story element to their romance and the tradition of a monarchy and a country that was on display. I also feel like Kate is the ultimate girl next door, she seems so sweet and down to earth, she even wore a sweet little Zara dress to start her honeymoon weekend the next day! It was a fun night to be a girly girl and think about what it would be like to become a real princess. The bishop at their wedding also made a comment that got me thinking of something even more exciting; we all can have a royal wedding, because for those of us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we become sons and daughters of a King, thus we are royalty as well. I love that! What did you think of the wedding this weekend?!
I love these table top art pieces that popped up in my inbox via Anthropologie yesterday. (Have you used Anthro’s handy tabletop design tool yet? So fun!) These images remind me of a kaleidoscope and I love all of the muted colors! Beautiful. – sb
