I just had to share this latest project because I am completely in love with it. Our dear friends Nick and Kim recently welcomed baby number 2 into the world they, by the way, make the most beautiful babies ever… new baby Edith looks so much like her big sister Eva, they both are beyond adorable. Kim is an incredibly talented photographer in California, she shot that beautiful photo of Eva on the card. The envelopes for the announcements were a soft gray that I calligraphed with the addresses in white ink. The backside of the announcement has a light pink (so faint it’s only a hint) floral design. I had so much fun working on these! Are you looking for custom baby announcements, let’s chat!
I am so excited to share a sneak peak of this navy and gold letterpress Save the Date I recently completed, the invitation is still in the works…I can’t wait to share the whole project with you! What’s not to love about a hand drawn laurel wreath letterpressed in metallic gold?! In the mean time I have been so inspired by navy and gold after working on this set, that I thought I would share some of my favorite inspirations with you. I think navy and gold may be the perfect combination for a formal (or informal!) summer wedding. Here are some of the navy and gold combos that have inspired me lately.
Earlier this week I was featured on Style Me Pretty with some of my lovely friends. I was over the moon with every detail of this inspiration shoot, shot at Bob’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Farm. It was shot by my incredibly talented friend Chantal Andrea, seriously her photography eye is amazing. It was styled and all the floral was done by my new sweet, lovely, talented friend Rachel from Finch and Thistle Events, if you are looking for a florist/event stylist book her, I would unreservedly trust her with my wedding…(and that’s saying a lot)… The food was provided by a local Seattle favorite Ravishing Radish and yes, it was as yummy as it looks. The makeup (and model styling) by Jenny Bowker was also so beautiful. What a fun day with some talented professionals….
And of course all the paper goods were designed by me. I was finally able to properly showcase the beautiful white calligraphy I have been playing around with. Also, I love the details like the plaid on the back of all the paper pieces…it’s those small details that are so important. Check out some more of my work from the shoot below. Like what you see? Contact me, I would love to chat with you about your project!
